Very unlikely.

This is unlikely to result in a segfault.

Mark, did you try the CentOS 5 build, and are you using the latest CentOS 6
revision?  The binary installer worked fine for me on one of our VMs
running CentOS 6.5.  I'm trying the source installer now.
